Apoteose Project gathers celebrities in Bela Brand fashion show
On September 9, Apoteose Project took place in New York, a Bela Brand parade that relied on Brazilian personality presence. The company is part of Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program) – result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Garment Industry Association) and ApexBrasil (Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency).
Bela Brand is a beach and resort wear fashion brand established by Brazilian Maria Laura Litterio. Maria Laura joined forces, ideals and inspirations with the artist Gominho, to create an international collection with purpose, beauty, art, colors, inclusion, sustainability and a lot of swing. The pieces are signed by the brand owner, and color and art are provided through prints created from paintings executed by Gominho.
Famous personalities and influencers attended the event. Names including Bianca Andrade (Boca Rosa), actors Ícaro Silva and Suzana Pires, influencers Reis Rodrigues and Lara D`Ávila, stylists Isabela Capeto, Raquel Davidowicz, Geová Rodrigues and many more.
In the catwalk, there were models, personalities and unique women like actress Letícia Colin, influencer Ju Ferraz, model and presenter Letticia Munniz, top model Bárbara Fialho, and of course, Gominho.
‘It was a true apotheosis. Seeing Brazil´s power and the noise the country can and should do overseas, gathering inclusion, sustainability and art through fashion is really special. Our brand focus is international market, but with fully Brazilian DNA’, said Maria Laura Litterio.
Bela Brand will present soon this collection at NYFW. It will include swimsuits, bikinis, beachwear, and resortwear and look to be worn in the city as well. All that was created with sustainable materials, natural fibers, textiles made of recycled pet bottle fiber, production without waste and made with social responsibility.
The goal is searching for empowerment, valuing and technical development of labor and enabling income generation – dressing our world in a more aware, clean and inclusive way. Maria Laura decided to create the Apoteose Project, with the purpose of being a pre-event for collection launch at NYFW.
The parade was sponsored by Souvie, a proud Brazilian organic cosmetic company, and the event also relied on the support of Brazilian fashion jewelry brand support based on NYC Eneene, and Por Elas Institute, whose purpose is generating girl and women social promotion, fighting gender violence and fostering professional qualification.
