Biofach hosts sustainable Brazilian fashion
rom February 12 to 15, Biofach, the German trade show geared towards organic and sustainable products in the apparel, food and cosmetics industries, welcomed Brazil’s Natural Cotton Color, with the support of Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, promoted by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil).The brand is known for producing clothing, accessories and décor items using cotton that is grown colored and does not need to undergo any chemical dyeing processes, which does not harm the environment and saves 70% water.
The city of Nuremberg hosted the event, which was attended by 42,000 people, including buyers and commercial representatives from 134 countries.This is the first time the Program has supported this trade show, which is responsible for promoting conscientious use of natural resources.”I would like to express my sincerest thanks for the support we received and say that the trade show was a success.We were able to make a deal with a distributor in Paris that serves Europe and Dubai.Biofach is, indeed, a great trade show,” says Francisca Vieira, the brand’s founder.
The next edition is set to take place next year, from February 11 to 14.
