Blue Man is the highlight of Dragao Fashion S/S 2014

04/22/2013

The festival of art, fashion and culture of Ceara, Dragao Fashion, ended last Thursday (04/18) and brought many innovations and trends. The event which took place at the Dragao do Mar Center in Fortaleza is supported by Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Export Program), developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), and the brand Blue Man, participant of the Program, was a highlight.

With the theme “Tropical Baroque”, the collection drew attention to its chosen prints to illustrate the S/S 2014 collection of the brand. The proposals brought surfers-style jumpsuits which were a highlight because of their boldness; and amongst the traditional ones, the curtain bra and the classic jeans bikini also conquered the public. Amid the colors, the colors of the tropical fruits prevail in contrast with blue and white Portuguese tiles on the military fringes of Dom Pedro and on Brazilian gems.

Pieces with transparent silk appear in casually refined after-sun outfits. The modeling of bikinis, swimsuits and swimwear, strongly influenced by surfwear, also stood out. Another innovation was the use of espadrille slippers.
