Blue Man is the new integrant of Texbrasil
Essentially Brazilian and ipanemense, as titled by its creator, Blue Man is one of the most traditional beachwear brands in the country. And now, it is part of the group of exporters taking part of Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Export Program), developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).
In Blue Man’s S/S 2013 collection, the modeling tends to a sporty style, with straight shapes, geometric necklines and contained volumes. Structured swimsuits and bikinis blend sensuality and comfort. Clippings, cracks and sharp armholes are hallmarks of these pieces. Trunks are democratic: from speedo to big swimming trunks, ranging from short shorts to surf shorts – which maintain the length above the knee. Lycra does not lose its main lead, but gives space to neoprene, which brings references of watersports for swimwear.
The company has dozens of stores in several States: Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Espirito Santo, Minas Gerais, Distrito Federal, Bahia, Pernambuco, Rio Grande do Norte and Ceara. Altogether, there are over twenty-five units across the country.
