Bon Marche showcases Brazilian brands

04/03/2013

About 120 Brazilian brands will be the focus of the Le Bon Marche Rive Gauche store in Paris from April 10 to June 22, allowing French consumers to know a bit of what Brazil is all about. The action has the support of the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) and of corporate entities that make up the brand Brasil Fashion System, including the Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association (Abit), via Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Export Program).

Fashion, cosmetics, perfumes, decoration and gastronomy brands are some of the participants, including names such as Adriana Degreas, Andrea Marques, Gloria Coelho, Pedro Lourenco, Granado, Schutz, Zeferino, Melissa, Carla Amorim, Studio Zanini and Granado.

The cuisine will be under the care of MIE Brazil and chef Helo Bacellar. In the project, about thirty names of the national cuisine intend to present to the French the Brazilian flavor in Epicerie, in Paris.  Among them, Portraits of Taste by the famous chef Alex Atala. A selection of all brands will be available for 24 hours on the online websites lebonmarche.com  and lagrandeepicerie.com, where a minisite will be totally dedicated to the event.

Besides that, cultural interventions will be conducted during the exhibition. “Tribute to Brazil”, by Vincent Fournier, pays homage to one of the main projects of architect Oscar Niemeyer; in a series about Brasilia, “Brazil in Pictures”, Globo network, in partnership with producer Bertrand, displays soap operas and other programs of the broadcaster.
