Brazilian beachwear presentation at El Corte Inglés
On June 6 and 7, El Corte Ingles in Lisbon and Gaia are presenting all of the latest in Brazilian beachwear in two fashion shows held by Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program) – the result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) – with the support of the Brazilian Bikini Shop, an online store.
The June 6 fashion show is taking place at El Corte Ingles in Lisbon, with a show at the Gaia store on June 7; both will take place at 6:30 PM. Notable among the models is Dania Neto, an actress and digital influencer who will walk in the show at El Corte Ingles in Lisbon, and Liliana Santos, a digital influencer who will walk in the event at the Vila Nova Gaia store. A cocktail following the show will be held to the sound of a Brazilian Bossa Nova band, featuring vocalist Carla Casarim, who participated in the TV show The Voice.
All of the brands at the fashion show are Brazilian and are references in the beachwear market. They include Farm, Mar Rio, Rio de Sol, Lua Morena, Maryssil, Blue Man, EMI, Bikiny Society – Texbrasil members; and Salinas, Triya, Haight and Larissa Minatto – members of Fashion Label Brasil, the result of a partnership between ABEST (Brazilian Association of Fashion Designers) and Apex-Brasil.
“We are very happy to have Brazilian beachwear at the El Corte Ingles stores. For some years now we have developed initiatives during the European summer, since we find this to be the perfect time to reach and extremely qualified public and publicize our beachwear, which has a high level of comfort and style,” explains Rafael Cervone, CEO of Texbrasil.
Both events are also relying on support from two Brazilian cosmetics brands which are widely distributed in Europe: Embelleze and Boticario.
