Brazilian brands do business at Première Vision NY
On January 17 and 18, New York City hosted Première Vision NY. The fair is considered one of the most important in the world in terms of trends in the textile segment, focusing on fabrics, yarns, fibers, textile design and accessories.
In this edition, the Brazilian delegation included the brands Oficina Caramelo, Savyon & Stampa Studio, supported by Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program) – the result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).
Lilian Kaddissi, Executive Superintendent of Projects at Abit, commented on the results achieved by the Brazilian companies supported by Texbrasil. “Supporting the participation of Brazilian brands in events like Première Vision is something we value considerably. The results obtained speak for themselves and reinforce the importance of our presence here in New York,” she said.
The three companies generated a total of US$71.75 thousand in business during the event, with an expected future return of US$110 thousand and the establishment of 53 new business contacts.
