Brazilian brands participate in Children’s Club fashion trade show
The North American Children’s Club fashion trade show starts on February 16 with the participation of three Brazilian brands supported by Texbrasil (Internationalization Program of the Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry) – the result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).
The brands Dolce Bambina, Up Baby (Malharia Cristina) and Fakini will exhibit their winter collections at the event, which happens digitally for the second time, due to the pandemic. The trade show will last for one month and happens through the NuOrder platform, one of the main marketplaces in the USA, simultaneously with another event of the group, the contemporary fashion trade show Coterie.
Among the participating brands, this is the first time for Dolce Bambina at the event with the support of Texbrasil. The brand, founded in 2016, entered the Program in early 2021, starting its process of internationalization.
From physical to digital
The new digital format has already yielded good results for the participating brands. In September 2020, the event generated USD 200,000 for the six Brazilian companies supported by Texbrasil participants, some of them also first-timers in the event.
According to Informa Markets, which in the second half held five trade shows in partnership with NuOrder, the events generated more than 55 thousand connections between brands and buyers and added about 22 thousand accesses to the platform.
