Brazilian brands take part in Coterie show in the USA
The Coterie womenswear and accessories show, held in New York City (USA), is welcoming Brazilian brands Adriana Degreas, Clube Bossa, FARM and Lucidez with the support of Texbrasil – Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency). Held from September 18 to 20, the event brings together showrooms of national and international companies, as well as internationally-renowned retailers, such as Le Bon Marche and Anthropology.
Kicking off its internationalization project, the FARM brand is taking its first step at Coterie, showing its S/S ’17 collection. “FARM is entering the international market and this is the first time we are taking part in a show like this abroad. We are quite optimistic,” says Ana Paula Joffe, a marketing analyst for the Rio de Janeiro-based brand.
Lucidez, also based in Rio de Janeiro, is bringing its S/S ’17 collection to the show, focusing mostly on dresses and tops with exclusive stamps, which is the brand’s DNA. “The materials used in this collection were linen and viscose, with a preference for natural fabrics,” says Elisa Tonietto, who is in charge of materials for the company/ As a pioneer in exporting, the brand is found in 10 countries and hopes to prospect new customers at the event and gain more recognition abroad. “The role of the show is also to serve as a showcase for Lucidez in the international market,” she adds.
