Brazilian companies arrive at Premiere Vision New York

07/22/2014

From today (July 22) until tomorrow (July 23), Premiere Vision New York will have products from Brazilian companies on show, with the support of Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil). The traditional showroom for textiles, supplies and prints is held twice yearly, with this edition featuring the F/W 2015 collections from over 150 exhibitors from around the world.

Companies representing Brazil’s industry are Natural Cotton Color, Gilda Lacerda and 02Gatos, in the area of digital print development, along with knitwear company Savyon. For Frederico Bernardo, COO of the Texbrasil Program, Premiere Vision New York serves as a showcase for Brazilian companies to give the market a first look at their products. “Buyers from all over the world are looking at the event, which is a major platform for launching trends,” he says.

Among activities at the trade show are seminars held during various times over the two days of the event. Topics such as key fabrics and products to develop a collection, trends for the season, creative responsibility, and innovation and communication as contemporary advantages will be debated at talks. Presentations are being given by various guests, including the Fashion Director of Premiere Vision New York, Sabine Le Chatelier, and the founder of the C.L.A.S.S. multimedia platform, Giusy Bettoni.
