Brazilian companies do business at Heimtextil Frankfurt
Heimtextil, one of the world’s most important trade fairs dedicated to the bed, table and bath segment, held its 2024 edition from January 9th to 12th. J. Serrano & Fiama Brazilian brands took part in the event supported by Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program) — the result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and ApexBrasil (Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency).
All in all, the companies made 56 new contacts with international buyers, which should yield even more prospects for global expansion. The forecast is that over the next 12 months the business generated by the event will exceed the US$ 2.7 million.
“Taking part in significant events like this contributes directly to the positioning of Brazilian brands on the global market, highlighting the innovative capacity and quality of the products exhibited by national companies. Our country’s bed, table and bath segment have tradition and recognition, and this is reflected in the interest in our products,” says Lilian Kaddissi, executive superintendent of strategic projects at Abit.
The next edition of Heimtextil will take place from January 14th to 17th, 2025.
