BRAZILIAN FASHION ON THE MOVE AT COLOMBIAMODA
Texbrasil brings national brands to the main Latin American fashion showcase
From July 29 to 31, Medellín (Colombia) will become a hub of innovation, business and trends with the event Colombiamoda — the main fashion platform in Latin America. The event brings together brands of apparel, accessories, textiles, fashion items, buyers, opinion makers and professionals from the entire textile and apparel chain.
Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program), a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), supports the Brazilian presence at the trade show with the aim of expanding commercial opportunities in the Latin American market.
In this edition, the Program enables the participation of 11 Brazilian companies, which will present their collections. The participating brands are: APA Confecciones, Camu Camu, Cupido, doisrios, Everly Kids, Grupo Rovitex, Kyly, Luluzinha, Maryssil by Larissa Minatto, Rizllep and UP BABY/QUIMBY (Grupo Cristina). The initiative is part of Texbrasil’s strategy to boost business and visibility for the national apparel sector in strategic markets.
With the theme “Co-creation that inspires“, Colombiamoda highlights collaboration as a driver for transforming fashion. Fashion, knowledge and business are the three pillars that structure the event, promoting a powerful regional showcase for brand positioning and the exchange of ideas.
Highlights of the program include:
- Knowledge Pavilion: free lectures and workshops with national and international experts on innovation, consumer behavior and sustainability.
- Trends Forum: four major aesthetics of the season presented through sensory exhibitions and design narratives.
- Materials Library: selection of textile accessories with a focus on circularity, new processes and environmental responsibility.
- City Circuit: activations in various locations in Medellín, integrating fashion, art, gastronomy and local culture in urban experiences.
“Colombiamoda represents an important opportunity for Brazilian fashion to explore new markets and connect with qualified buyers from Latin America,” says Lilian Kaddissi, Superintendent of Marketing and International Business at Texbrasil.”
Texbrasil offers participating brands comprehensive support, which begins in Brazil, with strategic guidance on the Latin American market, and continues during the trade show, with logistical and promotional support. After the event, the Program also monitors business outcomes, seeking to transform contacts into concrete and lasting business.
