Brazilian textile companies bring buyers to the Cup matches

04/01/2013

Five companies participating of Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Export Program), developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), are already part of the Agency’s Project that bring foreign buyers to the Cup matches.  Cipatex, Vicunha Textile, Dalila Textil, Audaces and Delfa bet on football as a way to promote and strengthen business relationships with international clients.

Taking advantage of the Brazilian image linked to this sport, Delila Textil believes the occasion will promote Brazilian culture and customs. The company brings to the country importers who resell its meshes in Paraguay and Uruguay.  Considered the best Latino partner by the brand, the purpose of inviting them is to strengthen ties and present to them the procedures and environment of the weaver factory. “They are important to us, and we want to feel like this”, said Thaisa Sacht, dealer of the brand.

Future customers and distributors are among the guests of Audaces, manufacturer of software for the textile industry. The company wants, via the project, to strengthen relationships with these prospects in order to create a brand reference and to generate new opportunities. For the brand’s public relations, Raquel Wisbeck, “the World Cup is a good opportunity to strengthen ties with buyers in creating opportunities so that they can see the strength of the company, the type of relationship that is differentiated with regards to competitor companies and countries, and negotiations not only of products, but also of relationships”.
