Brazilians labels close deals at Heimtextil

The traditional German home textiles trade show, Heimtextil, held from January 8 to 11 in Frankfurt, welcomed three Brazilian brands that are members of Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, executed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil). The companies showing at Europe’s top trade show in this segment celebrated the success of deals that reached the USD 539,000 mark; they expect an additional USD 1 million over the next 12 months.

Buettner, Fibrasca and Belchior made a total of 122 contacts with buyers from seven countries: Argentina, Belgium, Spain, France, Italy, England and Russia. Products on display were shown to a diverse public comprised of international retailers, wholesalers, representatives and journalists. Attending this edition of the trade show were 70,000 visitors, who saw collections by 2,800 Brazilian and international exhibitors.

Among the new products shown by the Brazilians to the public this year were curtain rods by Belchior made out of biodegradable wood, in addition to rugs using different technologies and massaging pillows by Fibrasca featuring heat control. Buettner brought its line of high quality and technological bed linens and towels.
