Casa de Criadores announces line-up for the A/W 2013 edition

11/30/2012

Between December 10 and 12, the A/W 2013 version of Casa de Criadores (House of Creators), a fashion week for new talents, takes place in the city of Sao Paulo. During the last day of this edition (12/12), the event hosts Ponto Zero finals, a competition which aims to discover new talents in fashion and styling. Among the prizes, the winner will join the group of designers starting next edition. The contest is promoted by Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Export Program, developed by Abit in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency – Apex-Brasil).

In order to take part in the judging panel and cover the event, Texbrasil invited, from England, Stefan Siegel, creator of the conceptual website Not Just a Label. He will still talk to the guests and participants of the contest.

Prior to the event, on 12/9, Fashion Mob takes over the streets of Sao Paulo. The parade gathers several stylists, makeup artists and general artists, whether professional or amateur, besides several curious. At the end of the path, judges wait on a bench to choose the best costume. The winner takes a series of prizes and the opportunity to present his/her work to professionals of the fashion market.

The line-up of the edition of Casa de Criadores has been already released. Among the innovations is the entry of AP401 from Alagoas, of stylist Fernando Cozendey for master scheduling and the return of Yoon Hee Lee to Projeto Lab.
