Casa de Criadores announces S/S lineup with new location

Downtown Sao Paulo, a recurring backdrop for the Casa de Criadores – CdC (House of Creators), will once again be the setting for the 35th edition of the event, which will be held from June 4 to 6. This time, Galeria Prestes Maia (Almeida Junior room) will serve as the location to launch the S/S 2015 collections of the 23 designers and brands.

Various designers have been confirmed in the line-up, including up and coming designers from BtoBe, the new talent incubator run by Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil), such as Karin Feller, Trendt and Gralias. The list of artists also includes Felipe Fanaia, Rafael Caetano, Ale Brito, Igor Dadona, Gustavo Carvalho, Tilda, Arnaldo Ventura, Danilo Costa, Walerio Araujo, Elian Gallardo and Rober Dognani, among others.

Just like in the 33rd edition, the event is once again partnering with Senac: Fashion Design students from the institute will show their creations on the last day of CdC (June 6), while students from the Pattern-making course will be given a show in the event lounge. Casa de Criadores will also have a surprise fashion show entitled “New Looks,” an initiative held in partnership with the state government.
