Cedro Textil Launches Collection Featuring Super-Stretch Denim and Expanded Widths
Cedro Textil, a company participating in Texbrasil (the Internationalization Program for the Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry), a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), presents its first collection for 2026 with a focus on innovation, versatility, and solutions tailored to the demands of the apparel manufacturing industry. The launch introduces new fabrics that expand possibilities for pattern making, finishing, and efficiency in laundry processes.

According to Eduardo Paixão, the company’s Style Manager, one of the highlights is Duo Star, from the super-stretch family, which does not lose its shape after wear. With a composition of 89% cotton, 8% elastomultiester, and 2% elastane, the fabric features a blue dye with multiple finishing possibilities and a width of 1.70 meters, allowing greater freedom in the creation of both women’s and men’s designs. The fabric maintains the hallmark characteristics of elastomultiester textiles: comfort, stability, and mobility.
Another launch is Pop Star, a super-stretch sateen with a composition of 98% cotton and 2% elastane. “With a width of 1.65 meters and ultra-blue dyeing, the fabric features a sophisticated and distinctive surface, ideal for both body-hugging garments and more relaxed silhouettes,” details Eduardo Paixão.
The collection also includes Hana denim. With a composition of 98% cotton and 2% elastane, it has a width of 1.68 meters and pure indigo dyeing, allowing work ranging from classic blue to lighter shades. The fabric easily adapts to both men’s and women’s patterns.
Among the launches that explore new laundry solutions is Texas Stretch, composed of 98% cotton and 2% elastane. The fabric features Indibrilhy dyeing (lower indigo load), which “facilitates the lightening of the fabric, reducing time and resources in laundry processes,” explains Eduardo Paixão. Its 1.70-meter width favors broader silhouettes.
Georgia is a 100% cotton denim with a width of 1.78 meters. The fabric also uses Indibrilhy dyeing, making it easier to achieve lighter and worn effects.
The collection also presents Texas Stretch Overdyed and Georgia Overdyed versions, with five overdye options that expand tonal possibilities. The colors range from lighter effects, such as a “dirty-look” brown, to more intense tones like black.
Another highlight is Kiraz Dark, composed of 83% cotton, 15% polyester, and 2% elastane. The fabric features blue-black dyeing, which allows different variations of blue when processed in laundry. With a width of 1.69 meters, it can be used in both classic garments and more statement-driven creations.
Rounding out the launches is Gabrielle, a new article in the Colours line. With a composition of 99% cotton and 1% elastane and a width of 1.68 meters, the fabric was developed to ensure comfort and a sophisticated look for garments. “Gabrielle is available in PT (ready for dyeing) and in reactive colors, as well as in the Gabrielle Vintage line, which offers five fadeable color options,” reveals Eduardo Paixão.
