Ceremony celebrates opening of Brazilian exhibition at the Bon Marche

Paris received a truly Brazilian celebration last Monday night (04/22). The reason was the official opening of Bresil Le Rive Gauche, an exhibition that honors Brazil at the legendary French store Bon Marche. With brands like Adriana Degreas, Andrea Marques, Rose & Bleu, Melissa and Havaianas, sales promise to reach € 3 million with the campaign that runs until June 22. The action has the support of the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) and of corporate entities that make up the brand Brasil Fashion System, including the Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association (Abit), via Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Export Program).

With an exclusive concert by singer Gilberto Gil, the party was attended by several personalities, amongst designers and Brazilian ambassadors in France, the project manager of Apex-Brasil, Rafael Prado, and the Texbrasil CEO, Rafael Cervone. This is the first time that the company is dedicated exclusively to the culture of a country: “Brazil entered the world stage in the economic and cultural level, it is inevitable to approach it. Next year all eyes will be on Brazil due to the World Cup, we want to be the first ones”, says the marketing director of Bon Marche, Guillaume Gellusseau.

Besides selling products, art exhibitions as an installation of French Bertrand Planes who displays images of TV Globo, featuring more characteristics of the Brazilian culture.
