Children’s Club, one of the biggest kidswear shows, came to an end last Tuesday (Aug. 4). The event in New York gathered 637 exhibitors, drawing 7,000 visitors over three days.

The S/S 2016 edition included attendance by six member brands of Texbrasil, the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency). L’Ete, Lili Bag, Paçoca, Cristina Malhas, Mini US and Spirodiro.

In total, the brands made around 130 international contacts and, together, they expect to do USD 215,000 in business over the next twelve months. “I was very happy with the work done by Texbrasil, which sought out new partnerships and contacts to promote Brazil’s kidswear,” says Silvia Ferraz, of Spirodiro.

The next edition of the event is scheduled for October, at Javits Center, in New York.
