The Brazilian fashion brand Farm continues its expansion in Brazil and worldwide. Now, they counted on the partnership with Círculo S/A to create the decoration of the new store in Brazil. The two companies are part of Texbrasil (Internationalization Program of the Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry) — the result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).

Located in São Paulo (SP), the new store includes decoration pieces and Brazilian popular art works developed by artists and communities, and were curated by the architect Marcelo Rosenbaum.

The proposal for this  Farm store was to give a new outfit to the main structure. “It’s a memory of beach house, interior houses of the 70s. The clothes rack is a large bamboo snake, that ranges across the ceiling and involves the columns. It supports all clothing and objects, the whole store is suspended,” Rosenbaum says.

The Ponto Firme Project, coordinated by stylist Gustavo Silvestre, developed the hut-shapped fitting rooms , a work similar to what was done in Farm’s first store in the United States, opening in 2019 in New York.

“The Moema unit is our first foray into Farm Brasil’s architectural design. We started our relationship with Farm in New York, during the brand’s internationalization and that was when we met up with Ponto Firme and Gustavo”, reveals Rosenbaum.

To make these three pieces of furniture for the space in Moema, about 350 kilometers of Apolo Eco string from Círculo S/A were used. ” The process of choosing the raw material went through a rigorous process that took into account the type of yarn to be used, since Farm promotes a sustainability movement in all its actions,” explains Gustavo Silvestre.

Three artisans from Ponto Firme and also 12 artisans from a partner community in São Paulo participated in the process of making the huts All work was developed in 30 days of production and installation of the dressing structures. “Ponto Firme was created to make a difference in people’s lives, to impact others and also communities. And we are happy to always be involved in initiatives with such an engaged purpose”, assesses the designer.
