Clube Bossa is the newest Texbrasil member
Clube Bossa is the newest brand to join Texbrasil, the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency). As a reference in high-end beachwear, the label is known for incorporating elements of haute couture, unusual design and an artistic vision. According to the brand’s CCO, Fernando Vareschi, plans for international expansion include prospecting new partners in order to work with more representation in Asia and Oceania, while also intensifying international communications efforts to reinforce identity and grow consumer demand. He believes that Texbrasil will be able to help significantly in reaching these goals “by sharing strategic information on target-markets, intermediating international actions and assisting in application of the strategic plan.”
With a successful history of internationalization, the brand gained its first international customer in 2011, Net-a-Porter. Since then, it has been included in a select group of labels with international visibility, which has resulted in the brand being featured in various specialized publications and has opened doors to other big-name customers. In 2014, it opened another important channel in Europe, with representation from a showroom acting in London and Paris. Today, in addition to Brazil, Clube Bossa is found at boutiques, department stores, resorts and online stores in the U.S.A., France, England, Greece, Ukraine, Turkey, Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates, Mexico, the Bahamas, the Maldives, the Philippines, Russia and Spain.
All of this success is also the result of the strong identity of its products. “Clube Bossa does not follow passing trends; it prefers to define its own modern and identifiable style, through its specific colors, prints and shapes. Draping and artistic braiding, hand-sculpting, the use of fabrics with an incomparable touch, exploration of rich elements of fauna, flora, architecture and furniture are the brand’s trademark,” says Vareschi.
