Helo Rocha
The history of the designer Helo Rocha dates back to 2005 when she had just graduated in fashion design from Santa Marcelina college and created the brand ‘Têca’ – her grandmother’s nickname. The first flagship located on alameda franca in São Paulo offers her own and unique style from girly – by mixing prints, embroideries and artisanal work – to tailoring, more present in big cities’ day-by- day.
In 2007, Helo Rocha was invited to take ‘Têca’ to Rio Fashion week runways and kept on participating in it for seven more consecutive editions of the event. In 2012, it participated in São Paulo fashion week and since then, it has been standing out as one of the main brands in the national scenario.
After turning ten years working in the fashion industry, the designer felt the need to reinvent the brand due to her own personal maturity. Thus, in order to celebrate that new phase, Helo Rocha launches her homonymous brand.
Currently, besides clothes that have been making the brand’s dna for all those years with artisanal references, prints and textures mix, the brand invests in a collection of tailor-made evening gowns, wedding dresses and couture having Preta Gil, Marina Morena, Sabrina Sato, Carolina Dieckmann and Yasmin Brunet as some of its vip customers.
