LUDIMILA HERINGER

The eponymous brand LUDIMILA HERINGER was founded in 2019 by designer Ludimila Heringer, following her participation in a creative identity workshop led by Pará-based designer André Lima in 2018. At the helm of the brand, she develops garments and bio-jewelry with a mission to rescue ancestral and handcrafted techniques, such as natural dyeing, botanical printing using Amazonian plants, crochet, and bio-accessories made from reclaimed wood.

The brand is currently based in Belém, in the northern region of Brazil, within the Amazon territory. This Amazonian identity is strongly reflected in the creative DNA of the brand’s collections, which are naturally dyed and crafted using premium natural fabrics woven with high-quality fibers, including certified and technological materials like pure silk, pure cotton, viscose, and pure linen.

The textile base is treated with natural dyes derived from endemic plants such as Pariri, Brazil Nut (Castanha-do-Pará), and Andiroba. In exploring the dyeing and medicinal powers of these herbs, the brand respects the culture of traditional Indigenous peoples, honoring the unique flora of the region.

Bringing handcrafted, original, and conscious fashion made in the Amazon to the Brazilian fashion scene, LUDIMILA HERINGER promotes a new way of thinking about style—rooted in sustainability, identity, and respect for ancestral knowledge.
