From the hands of Luigi Scavone – born in Tito, in the Province of Potenza, in southern Italy – the Oddone, Scavone & Comp. began operations in Itatiba, in the heartland of the state of Sao Paulo in 1893, working on different industrial fronts, such as production of matches, processing of rice, leather tanning and roasting of coffee beans, in addition to selling products imported from Italy and England. In 1915, it became the S/A Fabril Scavone and in 1938, production of wool yarn for knits began, a starting point in its investment in the textile industry. Ten years later, the first looms arrived, kicking off a new phase at the company: production of blankets and bedspreads.
Since then, Scavone has only grown. It currently has a unique structure in Brazil, with the best and most modern equipment, guaranteeing the impeccable finish of our products. The company travels the world in search of trends, fabrics, colors and prints. It develops a line – of bedspreads, blankets, comforters, sheets, duvets, towels and others – within international quality standards and only using the highest quality raw materials.
