Curve New York: Brazilian companies explore new opportunities
Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program), a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), was present at the second-half 2025 edition of Curve, North America’s leading B2B trade show for lingerie, beachwear, and loungewear. Held from August 3rd to 5th, the event brought together strategic buyers, retailers, and industry professionals at the Javits Center in New York.
This year, four Brazilian brands took part in the event with the support of Texbrasil: Cisô, Mari M, Pliè, and Rolling Brand. With distinct proposals and a focus on innovation and sophistication, the companies presented their collections to a qualified and internationally relevant audience.
The event featured 150 exhibitors and 1,100 buyers. The Brazilian delegation established 128 contacts, resulting in over US$ 100,000 in immediate business, in addition to the expectation of generating approximately US$ 390,000 in revenues over the next 12 months.
Despite the new scenario imposed by tariff hikes, Brazilian brands felt openness from buyers and interest in doing business, reinforcing the relevance of Brazilian products even in the face of international trade challenges.
The Brazilian presence at Curve NY solidifies the country’s position as a strategic partner, recognized for its originality and ability to address global market demands.
In addition to business negotiations, the event also provides learning about trends, consumer behavior, and new global market demands, contributing to the improvement of Brazilian brands’ internationalization strategies.
