Denim: Capricórnio Têxtil Shows Proposals

06/08/2022

With a 55-million meters annual production, Capricórnio Têxtil, a Texbrasil brand (Brazilian Fashion and Apparel Industry Internationalization Program) – result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Agency) and  ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), has anticipated the jeanswear market trends at Denim City, São Paulo, on May 24th to 26th. Check out the highlights below:

Eco Denim – lineup with sustainable features, whether in raw material or in the production process. The Pinus item is produced with the Repreve® technology, an ecological fiber made from recycling plastic bottles. As for Luna, it has the TENCEL™ in its composition, a man-regenerated natural fiber from cellulose or wood pulp.

The Pequí and Sucupira items, with the Laser Max® technology, have a process developed within the industry to boost the reduction of water consumption, chemical products, time, energy and labor supply in the washing process of jeans items.

Cipó is comprised of threads made from textile waste, moving the entire circularity wheel and ensuring a more sustainable process. The Timbó and Cajá items have in their composition, in addition to the organic cotton, the hemp fiber, one of oldest textiles, that has recently returned strong in the denim community due to its ecological nature and its high potential as a regenerative crop.

Original Denim – Capricórnio’s classic family. With great variety in weights and tonalities, they are ideal for vintage looks. Mostly used in straight, clochard, pantaloons, jackets, pantacourts, wide leg, boyfriend and mom pants. Ideal for more elaborate washings with intense stenciling, sanding and stripped clothes.

Light Denim – lighter denim, ideal not only for shirts but also for dresses, blouses, tank tops, shorts, bermuda shorts, clochard and jogger pants.

Comfort Denim – cotton, when combined with elastane, forms the perfect match for comfort in this urban lineup.

Flat Comfort Denim – with vivid and bright colors, with the elastane’s comfort, bring a noble and uniform look and perfect body fit. Ideal not only for women’s tailoring, but also for men’s clothes.

Poli Comfort Denim – full, inclusive and affordable. The fold of elastane with polyester never deforms. This family ensures yield in apparel and washing versatility.
