Vicunha Textil reaches great results at Denim Premiere Vision and Kingpins
In April, Vicunha Textil showed its products at two major European shows focusing on the denim segment: Kingpins, held from April 19 to 20, in Amsterdam (Netherlands), and Denim Premiere Vision, held April 26 and 27, in Paris (France). With the support of Texbrasil – Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) – the indigo and denim manufacturer did business of USD 145,000 during the events, with expectations for USD 4.3 million in sales over the next 12 months.
In the Dutch capital, where Vicunha has maintained a showroom since October of last year, the brand is presenting some of the highlights of its latest launch, such as the Eco Recycle lines, with sustainable denim, and the High Technology line, which features Dryarn® technology and items that guarantee well-being even in relation to weather variations. “Everything that is ecological has been very popular at the international shows, and it was no different with our products at Kingpins and Denim PV. The show in Amsterdam is very dynamic and is on the rise, in addition to really speaking to designers and being cooler. We had fantastic visits during the event,” says Thomas Dislich, Asia and Europe Director of Vicunha Textil.
The producer took its F/W 2018 collection to the 20th edition of Denim Première Vision, a show that gathers exhibitors of fabrics, laundries, chemical products and accessories for the jeanswear segment twice yearly, highlighting the smart fabrics that offer comfort and practicality in fashion. “This is the tenth anniversary of Denim PV, a show geared towards more structured customers in the industry. We have been event partners from the start and are happy to reach this historic mark together,” Thomas adds.
