Denim Première Vision hosts Brazilian companies in Barcelona
On May 27 to 28, Fira Montjuic, in Barcelona, is hosting Denim Premiere Vision, one of the biggest showrooms geared towards professionals in the denim segment. In its 16th edition – after 6 years in Paris – the event will feature 97 exhibitors, including weaving companies, washhouses, apparel manufacturers, notions companies, fiber producers and developers, drawing over 4,000 visitors.
Texbrasil, the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) is supporting two Brazilian representatives at the show: Vicunha Textil and Rhodia.
Vicunha is showing its F/W 2016 collection, entitled Rebel Denim, with 15 new denim launches and 11 in the color line, in addition to a wide range of prints. Rhodia is featuring its biggest innovations: Amni Soul Eco, a biodegradable polyamide yarn that decomposes when it comes into contact with soil within three years; and Emana®, which contains bioactive crystals that improve the skin tone of the person wearing it.
The show also has a special series of talks, forecasting trends for upcoming seasons and publicizing new launches in technology. Programming can be found by clicking here.
