Diklatex takes part in international agenda at Adidas focused on the 2026 World Cup
André Jativa, CEO of Diklatex, paid a strategic visit to Herzogenaurach, Germany, at the global Adidas campus—an official partner of the FIFA World Cup 2026—where he participated in technical and alignment meetings with teams involved in the development of materials for upcoming football-related collections and the World Cup cycle, especially the FIFA World Cup 2026, which kicks off on June 11.
“The World Cup doesn’t start in the stadium. It begins years earlier, in laboratories, innovation centers, and at development tables. Being at Adidas at this moment means witnessing the future of football being shaped,” says Jativa. During his time in Germany, the executive also visited the Puma campus on an institutional visit, following the brand’s movement in the international football scene.
Technical expertise and collection development – Diklatex operates in the development of high-performance technological fabrics applied to international sportswear, with the capability to create specific solutions for match, training, and sports lifestyle lines. The company maintains formal contracts and a well-established technical relationship with Adidas, based on collaborative development, international compliance, and high quality standards. This trusted relationship has granted Diklatex the status of developer for the German brand.
In the context of the 2026 World Cup, expectations point to a gradual increase in demand for technical fabrics for special collections. Connected to the tournament and global brand activations, the textile company has developed a capsule collection with 11 items that particularly reflect a Latin American identity. In the upcoming World Cup, Diklatex is responsible for the fabrics used by the current FIFA champion, Argentina.
“Our mission is to bring Brazilian textile engineering to the center of global sports decision-making. The 2026 World Cup is a milestone, but our joint work began years ago, and now we take pride and excitement in delivering all of this to the market,” concludes the CEO.
