Dragao Fashion Brasil announces line-up for commemorative edition

Responsible for presenting the best original Brazilian fashion, Dragao Fashion Brasil (DFB) has announced the line-up for its edition that will take place from April 23 to 27, at Centro Dragao do Mar de Arte e Cultura, in Fortaleza (CE). The event is celebrating its 15 year anniversary this year. The theme of the commemorative edition is “Fashion that drives the world,” which will discuss the challenges found in the Brazilian and international industries.

Three showrooms will feature 41 fashion shows. The Black Room (Sala Negra) will show the main collections by top Brazilian and international labels, while the Quartz Room (Sala Quartzo) will have the market’s newest labels and the arena-shaped White Room (Sala Branca) will have fashion shows by labels chosen by the DFB as the newest generation of creators. Dozens of workshops, seminars and lectures are also on the schedule for the season.

Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program), developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil, has invited a group of international journalists to follow the presentations at the event, in an effort to publicize Brazilian fashion to opinion-makers across the world.
