The ECOERA Award is aimed at awarding and honoring fashion and beauty industry companies that are inspiring and that spread conscientious practices throughout the production chain.

Split among three categories – planet, people and ECOERA – the Award features unprecedented industry indicators within the social and environmental theme. Based on four pillars, companies competing for the prize were assessed regarding their work in the environment and community and with employees and governance. Abit was fundamental in this process, since it was one of the advisor organizations that helped to choose the winners.

Using the Sistema B methodology, a global movement that has certified over 1400 companies and operates in over 100 countries, the mission of the ECOERA Award is to promote conscientious companies and spread these practices throughout the industry.

In the company assessment process, the Award relied on the support of Sistema B, which applied its tool, supported by metrics and indicators, to assess the results of the social and environmental impacts of the companies participating.
