Dudalina opens second point of sale in Quito, Equator
March 5 was an important day for Dudalina, the Santa Catarina apparel company founded in 1953 and that is currently known for its dress shirts. The opening of the second point of sale in Quito, Ecuador, is the company’s fourth international operation, in addition to its stores in Milan, Italy, and in Panama City, Panama, as well another store in Equator, opened in November 2014.
The new store is located in the El Jardín shopping center and already has the brand’s F/W 2015 collection, inspired by Dubai. Its inauguration is part of the company’s process of international expansion and the opening relied on support from Texbrasil, the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).
Among plans increase its international reach are the opening of another point of sale in Equator, in Guayaquil; the opening of a store in Stockholm, Sweden, at the Täby Centrum shopping center; a second store in Panama, at the Soho Mall; and expansion of the Milan unit, which will soon have 100m² and a wider range of products. The company aims to end 2015 with 10 international points of sale.
