European trade shows welcome Texbrasil brands

Europe will be the stage for two major industry trade shows this January. Heimtextil, focusing on home textiles and supplies, will take place from the 14 to 17, in Frankfurt, Germany. Then, Florence, Italy, will host Pitti Bimbo from the 22 to 24, gathering kidswear brands. Five member companies of Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil) will show their launches at both events.

Heimtextil has been held since 1971 and is a major platform, gathering 2600 manufacturers, sellers and designers of home textiles. Brazil will be represented by the Belchior, Buettner, Soft Blue and Karsten brands. The edition last year in January welcomed over 70,000 visitors, including retailers, wholesalers, buyers and journalists, with Texbrasil brands generating business of USD 539,000, with an expectation to do over USD 1 million in business in the months following the event.

Pitti Bimbo will have 430 exhibitors from across the world, with an expected 10,000 attendees. Lili Bag, a company producing bags, purses and accessories for babies and kids, has taken part in the event since 2013.
