Events heat up the Texbrasil agenda in July

07/03/2023

June and July are intense months for companies wishing to internationalize. With many textile and fashion events, several brands participate in actions promoted by Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program) – a result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and ApexBrasil (Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency) –, aiming at exports and closer commercial ties.

In June, the period started with ITMA and continued with Roadshow Australia, Swim Collective and Splash Paris. ITMA, in Milan, takes place every four years and counts on a roadmap of technical visits organized by the Program one day before the opening of the fair, with a focus on benchmarking innovation and production processes in the textile sector. Now, in July, on the 6th, there will be a post-ITMA workshop that will feature the latest news presented at the event. Registrations are open here.

In July, there will be Colombiamoda as a highlight. It is the main clothing fair in Latin America, along with Swimshow Miami, the most important beachwear fair on the American east coast. Also, Première Vision (Paris and New York), traditional events for suppliers of textile products and supplies for the sector, held twice a year since 1973 – in addition to Destination, Cabana, Curve, Tranoï, among others, will take place.

“Texbrasil develops activities that help promote brands in the foreign market, with strategic and operational support for participation in important international fairs in the sector,” says Lilian Kaddissi, executive-superintendent of Strategic Projects at Abit.

This is a period of opportunities for the members of the Program to strengthen ties with potential international clients. The Commercial Promotion area is responsible for the participation and support to the companies in the main fairs and actions of the sector Learn More.
