Brazilian brand Fabiana Milazzo launches summer collection and promotes food donation

05/31/2021

The women’s fashion brand Fabiana Milazzo, which is part of Texbrasil (The Internationalization Program of the Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry) — the result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) — brought Brazilian food into its new collection.

Entitled “Frutos da Terra” (Fruits of the Ground), the launch is inspired by the colors of the vegetables, fruits, flowers, and cereals present on the Brazilian table, which also illustrate the prints, handmade.

Simultaneously with the arrival of the new collection, the brand also developed the “Projeto Frutos da Terra”, which intends to create a solidarity network to collect and distribute food to needy families. The idea for the initiative came up during the creative process of the line, and 100% of the funds raised will be destined to Brazilian institutions that fight hunger.

The summer release features comfortable modeling and light, versatile pieces, including long and short dresses, shorts, and pants with wider models, as well as a comfortable tailoring line.

The color palette brings joyful and vibrant tones such as pitaya pink, passion fruit yellow, and mint green. The fabrics are made of natural fibers such as cotton, silk, and viscose, which provide lightness and comfort.

Sustainability is also present in the launch, with the use of Zat fabric, which has the Eco Cycle and Less Water seals, as well as Eco White, made with recycled yarns.

The official launch of the collection takes place next Tuesday (06/01) with a virtual fashion show broadcasted on the brand’s YouTube and Instagram.
