Farm is part of yet another international partnership. This time, the Rio de Janeiro-based brand is joining JanSport, of the U.S.A., in an unprecedented collaboration. The Brazilian company’s traditional floral prints give color to four backpack models and four key rings, which will be sold in Brazil, the U.S.A., Hong Kong and South Korea starting in August. Farm is a member of Texbrasil, the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, the result of a partnership between Abit and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).

“JanSport was already something we wanted. Their backpacks are iconic wardrobe pieces and it’s an accessory that complements any look,” says Katia Barros, Farm’s creative director and a founding partner. The collab includes the following models: “La Borbo,” in burgundy and yellow with a butterfly and floral print, “Patchwork,” in jeans with a mix of materials and craftsy designs.

The collection also includes “Praiana,” with light tones and lace, an ode to the seashore, surfing and the beach, and lastly, “Porto Claro,” in shades of blue, pink and black, with ethnic references featuring bars and flowers. The key rings are inspired by the four backpacks: “Patchwork” is done in jeans with a young feel, “Porto Claro” has colorful pom-poms, “Praiana” has shells, straw and stones, and “La Bordo” has various colors of butterflies.
