Five Texbrasil brands will have fashion shows at 41st SPFW

The 41^st edition of Sao Paulo Fashion Week is taking place April 25 to 29, at the Fundacao Bienal Pavilion – Ibirapuera Park. The show is celebrating its 21st anniversary with the theme of “Hands Worth Gold,” featuring seven brands making their debut. The line-up includes five member brands of Texbrasil, the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency). They are: Apartamento 03, Adriana Degreas, PatBo, Helo Rocha and GIG Couture.

Fashion Week announced that its calendar will be set up this year so that the dates of the fashion shows will be near the retail launch dates for collections starting next year. “We are experiencing an intense period of transformations. We are all protagonists in a new cycle that is starting. More than ever, we have the chance to leverage and share truths, essences, experiences,” says Paulo Borges, the creative director of SPFW.

The theme for this edition of the event is “Hands Worth Gold” – celebrating the human capacity to rethink, to work hands-on, to reinvent and to make a new beginning – and it is featuring seven brands making their debut: A.Brand, A La Garconne, Amir Slama, Cotton Project, Murilo Lomas, Vix and Amabilis. The last of this list, Amabilis, was selected in the Top Five project, held by IN-MOD in partnership with SEBRAE.

On April 24, the Sunday preceding SPFW, designer Fause Haten will give a presentation as part of the Fora da Moda (Out of Fashion) project’s calendar of events, at the gardens of the Ipiranga Museum, held with Sesc Ipiranga.
