Florianopolis is the inspiration for Dudalina’s S/S 2016 collection
Florianopolis is one of Brazil’s most famous destination, thanks to its beaches and diverse natural beauty, as well as to its combination of urbanism and history, found in XVI century colonial forts. With this in mind, Dudalina Feminina, a member brand of Texbrasil, the Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), was inspired by the city in the state of Santa Catarina for its S/S 2016 collection.
Entitled “Floripa,” the line features comfort and elegance with a romantic touch, found in flowing fabrics, loose-cut smocks and dresses and embroidered sleeves and necklines. The brand also has renewed prints that give the garments energy and life and this, it is worth noting, is a strength of the company. Scarf prints in blue tones with white recall resorts, while florals matched with leaves are inspired by nature. Designs on cashmere come in vibrant and bold colors.
Black and white stripes are a classic and are back as “Stripes” in contrasting combos. They are found on dresses, tops and skirts with updated patterns on shirts.
