High-end Brazilian labels will be in Paris from February 27 to March 3, showing their F/W 2015 collections at the Vendome Luxury and Tranoi showrooms, with the support of Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil). Patricia Bonaldi, PatBo, Vivaz, Anamaria Couture, Mabel Magalhaes and Sarah Chofakian showed collections at Vendome Luxury, which specializes in the top fashion trends in evening wear, while the Fabiana Milazzo label showed its latest at Tranoï, where, in addition to showing collections, fashion shows are held.

Together, the Brazilian brands made over 80 contacts with international retailers and buyers, with business volume surpassing USD 400,000 in business and another USD 1.7 million expected for the next twelve months. The trade shows take place in parallel to Paris Fashion Week, prominently showcasing the labels to the European market. “We invest in Tranoï and Vendome because they are excellent performers not only in sales, but also in return on image, since this is the time when Paris gathers the world’s main shapers of opinion,” says Lilian Kaddissi, Executive Manager of Texbrasil.

Minas Gerais-based designer Patricia Bonaldi took her F/W collection to Paris, which was inspired by the gardens she has visited throughout her life, translated into a poetic and melancholy mood. High-end and structured fabrics are painted using blue and white tones, pale pink and even animal print. Unique designs filled with grandiose details are decorated with carefully localized embroidery, applied on fabrics such as duchess satin, pure silk and voile. Fabiana Milazzo took inspiration from the Art Nouveau movement for the season, with a collection that mostly included more organic shapes for her embroidery.
