Brazilian brands reach great business results at French shows
Four member companies of Texbrasil – the Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) – were at Tranoi and Vendome Luxury, traditional French shows, held in Paris March 3 to 6. As a result, Brazilian companies LN Deluxe, Patricia Bonaldi, Vitor Zerbinato and Anamaria Couture did USD 220,000 in business, with sales of USD 710,000 expected over the next 12 months.
The F/W 2017 collection from Anamaria Couture caught the attention of attendees at the Vendome Luxury show, which the brand has taken part in more than once. “The experience with this collection was excellent, in every aspect. I was very happy with the results and am glad to return with positive results. We saw old customers again and gained new customers,” says Catia Macedo, who is in charge of exports. For Andrea Sanchez, a commercial manager at Vitor Zerbinato, the public loved the finish and cut of the label’s pieces. “Participation in the show met the brand’s expectations; we did some business and we made contacts for future business,” she said.
While Simone Jordao, who is in charge of the commercial area for LN Deluxe, was overjoyed with the results of the brand’s debut at the Tranoi show, where she noticed that many customers attended from Italy and the United Arab Emirates. “The show was great; we are happy with the result and many of the customers that visited the stand liked our product. We are very interested in participating in the next show,” she says. Focusing on the womenswear, jewelry and other accessories segments, the Tranoi and Vendome Luxury shows are traditionally held four times a year, during Paris fashion weeks, in prestigious locations in the city.
