Grupo Malwee launches Malwee Pro for the corporate apparel market
A new B2B division focuses on uniforms and promotional apparel to expand the group’s reach and offer solutions featuring technology, customization, and sustainability
Grupo Malwee, a global leader in sustainable fashion, is expanding its presence in the B2B market with the launch of Malwee Pro, a new business unit dedicated to corporate wear, uniforms, and promotional apparel. The initiative combines the company’s nearly six decades of experience in the textile sector with a market opportunity that, according to the group, remains largely untapped in Brazil: the provision of uniforms offering superior quality, comfort, technology, and sustainability features.
The new operation serves companies, schools, and organizations looking for apparel for corporate use, campaigns, activations, and events. Beyond simply manufacturing the items, Malwee Pro offers an integrated solution that manages the project from the initial brief to final delivery.
Customized solutions for the corporate market
Malwee Pro’s operations are structured in five stages: understanding client needs, solution development, product definition and customization, production with quality control, and logistics and delivery.
The portfolio focuses on knitwear and fleece, catering to both children and adults. Garments can be customized with prints, appliqués, embroidery, special finishes, unique collar styles, and packaging options.
The proposal also incorporates various textile technologies, such as UV protection, antimicrobial properties, odor control, thermal comfort, liquid repellency, wrinkle resistance, and an antiviral finish. Furthermore, the company offers options that utilize raw materials and processes with lower environmental impact.
“With Malwee Pro, we want to bring that same experience to the corporate market, offering solutions that meet each company’s needs without compromising on durability, comfort, or our commitment to sustainability. It is a natural evolution for the brand, as it now places its full production capacity and textile expertise at the service of this segment,” says Gabriela Rizzo, CEO of Grupo Malwee.
Industrial facility ready for new business opportunities
The launch of Malwee Pro leverages the industrial and logistics infrastructure already in place at Grupo Malwee. The company’s manufacturing facilities are modern and flexible, enabling it to handle new demands and utilize the available capacity of existing operations.
With a 58-year history, an annual production of 38 million garments, and a client base exceeding 18,000 annually, the company possesses established expertise in the production of knitwear and sweatshirts. Its logistics infrastructure also enables deliveries to every municipality in Brazil—a key advantage for high-volume corporate contracts with nationwide reach.
This structure enables the new operation to meet demands of varying scales, especially from large companies seeking standardization, customization, and nationwide delivery capabilities.
Sustainability as a differentiator in corporate apparel
The ESG agenda is also part of the Malwee Pro proposal. According to Grupo Malwee, the company uses 100% renewable electricity and manufactures 86% of its portfolio using sustainable raw materials or industrial processes.
These attributes can help client companies incorporate environmental criteria into their corporate apparel strategies, aligning uniforms and promotional items with their own sustainability policies.
The initiative thus expands the application of Grupo Malwee’s textile expertise and brings a proposition to the corporate market that combines quality, comfort, technology, customization, and sustainability.
Professional uniform market gains ground
The launch of Malwee Pro takes place against the backdrop of a recovery in the Brazilian apparel market. According to data from IEMI – Market Intelligence, the sector generated R$ 294.8 billion in revenue in 2024—a 5.8% increase—and is projected to reach R$ 314.9 billion in 2025.
Within this landscape, the professional clothing segment generated R$ 7.8 billion in revenue in 2023—the institute’s most recent figure for the niche. This trend is driven, among other factors, by companies seeking greater technology, customization, and sustainability in their uniforms.
For Grupo Malwee, the corporate apparel market offers growth potential and remains fragmented, especially when compared to the scale of the fashion industry. The Malwee Pro strategy aims to leverage the company’s industrial expertise, production capacity, and logistics infrastructure to raise quality standards within the segment.
The initial prospecting focus is on large corporations in the services, retail, industrial, and logistics sectors, with a strategy aimed at securing high-volume contracts.
“More than just a new product line, the goal is to transform and strengthen the professional market, bringing innovation and credibility to corporate apparel,” concludes Gabriela Rizzo.
With Malwee Pro, the Malwee Group diversifies its operations and extends the reach of its textile expertise into a new market, reinforcing the domestic industry’s capacity to develop B2B solutions characterized by scale, innovation, and environmental responsibility.
