Haco announces investment in factories in Brazil
The label brand Haco announced a R$15 million investment in its factories in Brazil, located in the states of Santa Catarina and Ceará. The purpose of the investment is to expand the company’s production capacity, as well as to increase its range of products.
The participant of Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program) – the result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Association of the Textile and Clothing Industry) and Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency) – intends to apply the resources to the expansion of the footwear, sports, and jeanswear segments.
“We have renewed the machinery, and significantly increased our production capacity. Going against the crisis, we keep investing in our innovation, service, fashion, and design pillars”, celebrates the company’s president, Alberto Conrad Lowndes.
In the jeanswear market, the expectation is to increase productivity in waistband labels, with which Haco has been gaining space in the national and international markets. The company was even featured in Vogue Portugal, where it was on the cover with a sustainable label.
Haco currently produces more than 6 billion labels per year in its four manufacturing facilities, which also include a plant located in Covilhã, Portugal.
