IntegrAbit gathers main players of the sector to debate fashion and consumption
Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) announced its first digital conference, IntegrAbit, for November 4th and 5th. In a 100% online environment, participants will follow discussions with the main players in the textile and apparel industry and opinion makers from Brazil and the world.
With a lot of exchange and connection, the online event discusses the theme “Fashion and consumption: where we are, where we are going to”. To register, just access the event’s website.
Through panels and lectures with national and international experts, IntegrAbit presents a panorama of global consumer behavior, addressing topics such as the importance of communication in changing the mindset, trends in business models and sales channels, and new consumer experiences.
“Our idea is to propose to the public a new way to exchange knowledge and connect all the actors of the textile and clothing network in Brazil and the world,” points out Fernando V. Pimentel, President of Abit.
Luiz Arruda, head of WGSN mindset Latin America, will open the event. The executive will present a global research about the consumer profile in 2022.
Among the speakers are also confirmed Adriano Passos, coordinator of fiber innovation at SENAI CETIQT and Raul Fangueiro, professor at the University of Minho, who will discuss new materials and innovation in the textile industry.
Osklen’s founder, Oskar Metsavaht, will lead the panel “Product and service design as a strategic drive”.
The proposal of the conference is to debate the current nuances of consumer habits, rethinking the future of retail and fashion. “The choice of the theme was really very timely because we are in a moment of habit transformation that impacts directly on behavior and consumption,” believes the President of Abit.
