International journalist accompanies Fashion Mob and Casa de Criadores
The English journalist Stefan Siegel, creator of Not Just a Label website, is in Brazil at the invitation of Texbrasil (Brazilian Fashion Industry Export Program), developed by Abit in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency – Apex-Brasil. Stefan watched the most democratic fashion show closely, and will be here until the end of the edition of Casa de Criadores (House of Creators). The journalist was enchanted with all the casualness of the contest, which had a winner on Sunday (12/09).
Rafael Caetano was the big winner of Fashion Mob 2012 in the fashion category, with a collection inspired by the story of Olga Benario. Born in Sao Caetano do Sul and student of 3rd year of Fashion at FASM – Santa Marcelina College, the stylist attended the event for the fourth time. His work presents asymmetric and not anatomical structures that reflect the spirit of freedom preached by Olga.
The winner of the contest was announced by Andre Hidalgo last Sunday after the concert of singer Otto, at Sao Joao Boulevard. In the art and beauty categories, the winners were, respectively, Luisa Ritter and Ludmila Teixeira. Luisa has a paint, photo and illustration job and presented photographic references of the city of Paraty, plus pictures of families which also serve as inspiration for her paintings and photos. The event was exclusively sponsored by Natura and had over fifty enrollments in the area of fashion, seven in art and thirteen in beauty.
