Kingpins: Vicunha brings sustainability and technology to the Dutch trade show
Vicunha Textil brings technology and sustainability to the upcoming edition of Kingpins, a trade show that brings together the main manufacturers in the jeans industry, which will take place in the Dutch capital on April 19 and 20. The indigo and denim manufacturer will present some of the highlights of their latest product line at the event, with the support of Texbrasil – the Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).
The Eco Recycle line will be on display at the manufacturer’s stand, with sustainable denims that help reduce the waste of natural resources in the production process, and the High Technology line, which uses Dryarn® technology and results in articles that guarantee comfort even during climatic variations.
In October of last year, the company expanded its presence in Europe with the inauguration of a showroom, also in the city of Amsterdam. “We find a union between eclectic and classic in the Dutch capital, something that reflects the European market’s willingness to look to the future of denim. Our presence at the trade show only reinforces Vicunha’s expertise in offering high-level products for the foreign market,” says Thomas Dislich, Vicunha Textil Director for Asia and Europe.
Established in 2004, Kingpins brings together manufacturers from many countries, strengthening the relationships between product developers and broadening the dialogue on trends for the coming seasons and the most innovative products in the denim market. “Amsterdam is an important metropolis for jeanswear and, for Vicunha, attending Kingpins is an opportunity to bring us closer to other professionals in the industry and present our products in a strategic market,” Dislich adds.
