Meninos Rei, a brand from Bahia, is a new member of Texbrasil
Meninos Rei is the newest member of Texbrasil (Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program) — the result of a partnership between Abit (Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) and ApexBrasil (Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency).
With annual output of two collections, the creations revere the ancestrality of its creators, brothers Céu Rocha and Júnior Rocha, bringing to the clothing a young and trendy fashion.
The African fabric serves as the basis for the work seen in the collections, as well as craft techniques, such as patchwork, which provide modern modeling, strong colors, and a mix of prints, resulting in original pieces full of representativeness. Among the brand’s key items are tailoring pants, blazers, and shirts, in addition to overalls, a great sales success.
Céu Rocha, CEO and designer of the brand, believes that the partnership with Texbrasil will bring great results for the company and for Brazilian fashion as a whole. “Together we will strengthen and expand our production network, nurture partnerships, and maintain a link with new and possible channels for future projects.”
The project began in 2015, when the brothers had the idea to launch something different from what was being marketed in Bahia. After a small production that had a positive impact on their friends, they realized that there is a demand and decided to expand the business.
