Natural Cotton Color comes to the Bloom trend book
Natural Cotton Color, a member brand of Texbrasil – the Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) – is being featured in the Bloom book, a major international publication on trends in fashion, art, culture and design, founded by Li Edelkoort of the Netherlands. The book’s launch was held in October, at Shopping Iguatemi, in Sao Paulo, and was attended by the researcher, who was named one of Time’s most influential people in the fashion world.
This is the second Brazilian edition Bloom, which features texts in Portuguese and English. With the topic of Faith, the publication discusses the spirituality and religion that permeate Brazilian productions. Bloom Faith speaks of the creativity and mixed believes which Brazilians cherish and shows a panorama ranging from traditional arts and crafts to the Indigenous Olympic Games in Brazil, with a focus on trends that inspire the world.
Natural Cotton Color has four pages in the book, where images selected by Li Edelkoort of the organic colored cotton illustrate the article on ‘Colored Cotton.’ The brand’s CEO, Francisca Vieira, celebrates this recognition. “When I saw our work in Bloom Faith, I was thrilled, because it’s not just a book or a magazine. To me it is a work of art. We are proud to be part of this publication,” she says.
The book is already available at Studio Edelkoort, in Paris, and will be launched in the cities of Rio de Janeiro and New York on December 1st and in Curitiba on December 10.
