Natural Cotton Color taking part in sustainability trade show in the United States
Between March 9 and 12, the city of Anaheim, in California, will host another edition of Natural Products Expo West, one of the United States’ largest trade shows for organic and sustainable products. With the support of TexBrasil – The Brazilian Textile and Fashion Industry Internationalization Program, developed by Abit in partnership with Apex-Brasil (The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) – Paraiba-based Natural Cotton Color will take part for the third time in the event that every year brings together more than 3,000 exhibitors and 77,000 visitors from across the world.
The brand, which will present its collection of women’s clothing and accessories made of organic colored cotton, hopes to conclude business deals with clients from previous editions of the event, such as the North American natural-products chain Whole Foods. “We have great expectations that we receive buyers from Whole Foods, with whom we’ve been in talks since the last trade show. The chain, which sells clothes, shoes, accessories – in short, everything that is certified fair trade or organic – has 500 stores in the United States and Canada, and therefore has great demand for organic products,” says Francisca Vieira, CEO of Natural Cotton Color.
Boasting a contemporary design and a focus on handcrafted products, NCC promises to once again astound the demanding audience of Expo West. “The United States is the biggest market in the world for organic products. Today, people visiting the trade show love Natural Cotton Color and they have nothing but praise, so I believe that this is an entry point for our products.” adds Francisca. Currently, NCC already exports to more than 10 countries, including Japan, Canada, Germany, France, and Saudi Arabia, as well as the USA.
