Nine Brazilian brands take part in North American trade fair Coterie

Between September 17 and 19, nine Brazilian brands took part in the North American trade fair Coterie, dedicated to the women’s apparel, accessories and footwear segments, held in the city of New York, USA. Those companies counted on the support of the Brazilian fashion export programs Fashion Label Brasil, sponsored by ABEST, and Texbrasil, sponsored by Abit, both in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).

From Texbrasil, brands Colcci, FARM, Liziane Richter, Maria Pavan, T. Arrigoni and Patbo took part in the trade fair, and from Fashion Label Brasil, brands Cecilia Prado, Serpui Marie and Live!

For Live!, a brand specialized in the active wear segment, their participation in the trade fair had a strategic purpose. “Our idea is to expand our exports to markets we have never explored before, such as Canada, China, Japan, the Arab Emirates, France and Spain,” said Marjorie H. Socrepa, from the brand’s export department.

Launched in 1986, Coterie includes many different showrooms, and gathers many national and international brands. It is also visited by renowned retailers from all over the world, such as Anthropology, Revolve and Le Bon Marche, in addition to providing a space dedicated to new contemporary fashion designers.
