Over 800 apparel-makers take part in Cedro presentations in 2014

Events held by Cedro Textil to launch the S/S and F/W 2014 collections, including fashion shows and presentations of the latest in jeanswear, gathered hundreds of apparel-makers and fashion professionals from important centers in Brazil, such as Espirito Santo, Pernambuco, Goias, Sao Paulo and Santa Catarina. The shows are already a tradition among customers and are one of the company’s main relationship tools in an effort to grow stronger relations with its partners and provide a chance to convey the features of these articles and their technical and creative possibilities to these professionals.

“The change in the product portfolio, which up to the end of 2015 should include 70% premium fabrics, reinforces the importance of these regional meetings,” says Oto Arantes, Commercial Manager at Cedro. “Because these items have new technologies, constructions, special fibers and offer new creative and manufacturing possibilities, we believe that personal contact is the best way to answer questions and advise our customers,” he says.

With 865 participants in attendance, mostly designers and laundry professionals, Trends Day is part of the initiatives developed by Cedro aimed at facilitating the dynamic of apparel-makers while offering complete consulting for production of increasingly assertive collections. Other activities complement its relationship with consumers, such as the Cedro Products Lounge, in Sao Paulo, established regional showrooms and the “Cedro Washed Here” project, which identifies and approves laundries that are qualified to work with the fabrics the company develops. “These are strategies that reflect our commitment to customer support, offering innovative solutions in pre-sales and aftersales,” says Oto in closing.
